Second Chance Doors

My name is Matt Cipresso, owner of Second Chance doors!  I am an Arizona native and graduated from Arizona State University- Go Devils!  I love working with my hands and especially love working with wood. I am experienced in the subtle techniques and materials required for superior wood refinishing

 

Every door is unique, they all have certain characteristics that make them beautiful! I call this the door DNA. Most doors can be refinished to their original beauty and I offer a free quote service.  I personally inspect each door I quote on site.  This provides me with the opportunity to connect with my customers and find out what they like and don’t like.  Inspecting the door on site allows me to visually assess the door so I can provide an accurate quote.

 

Why Should I refinish my door?

 

The first reason is that new doors are expensive and in some cases the door can be delivered unfinished, just bare wood.  The second reason is maintenance, before the door starts to deteriorate too badly, it can be restored with a refinish. Refinishing is half the price of a new door!  An additional benefit to refinishing is that the color of the door can be changed. Many original finishes are out dated or no longer match the house color. I can make a variety of colors across a wide range of woods to achieve the look you want.  A proper finish coat can also be applied to protect the door after its refinished.
